We're nearing the end of day one, about 90km outside of Calgary. We had been hoping to get to Medicine Hat today, but kinda forgot about the time change. The weather has been gorgeous, except for a little snow on the Coquihalla, and some rain here and there. I've been mesmerized by the Rockies for hours, and may have literally taken a million pictures of them. The dogs have been so good, they haven't uttered a single complaint. We've seen a few elk and deer, no moose or bears like I was hoping.
We're planning to camp for the night around Calgary, hopefully it's not too cold!
